JEE Advanced is the second round of JEE. It is the national-level engineering qualifying examination conducted by the NTA for all the 23 IITs on a rotational basis every year. The aspirant's 1st need to qualify for JEE MAINS as it is the eligibility test for JEE Advanced.

 ü  Importance of JEE Advanced 2023:

JEE-Advanced is the qualifying examination conducted by the IITs for getting a seat in prestigious IITs. Those who qualify in JEE main now become eligible to take up JEE Advanced Examination. In other words, JEE mains is the eligibility test for taking JEE Advanced Exam.

ü  JEE Advanced exam notification:

The exam date for JEE MAINS is yet to be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in 2023 and      JEE Advanced is 3rd week of June 2023. JEE Advanced Exam is pretty tough and requires rigorous preparations and revision. It is advisable that the aspirants should not start with any new topic in the last week of preparation. Hence! The last 4 weeks should be dedicated to the revision of the topics and solving practice test papers. Time management is one of the key points to take note of, attempting the questions in the allotted time is very important, and for that, the aspirant should have a clear conceptual understanding and accuracy.

ü  Eligibility Criteria:

• The eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Advanced examinations are as follows:-
• The candidate should have passed the 12th standard board examination
• The candidates should be less than 25 years of age as per the appearing year
• The candidate can take up the examination twice in 2 consecutive years

 ü  JEE Advanced Exam Pattern

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern is a computer-based examination conducted in two papers paper 1 and paper 2. The exam duration is 3 hours. The NTA authorities generally release the Application online form for more details log on to jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE advanced pattern includes details like marking style, mode of examination, the total number of questions, time durations, etc. Every year the exam pattern is the same, with minor changes. The exam authority for JEE Advanced 2023 is expected to be Guwahati IIT. The aspirant should be familiar with JEE Advanced 2023 exam pattern which will help them to figure out the style of examination in the final entrance examination. The brochure of the exam conducting body also enlists the eligibility criteria and exam pattern of convenience.

JoSAA is the Joint Seat Allocation Authority i.e. set up in 2022 by MoE to regulate and manage the seat allotment to successful candidates who cracked JEE Advanced Examination. It also allocates seats to 114 premiered engineering institutes including IITs, NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs, and other center or state-funded engineering colleges.
